Lo que me dé la gana

Puedo ser estudiante & explorar el mundo laboral

Puedo ser deportista & obtener una medalla mundial

Puedo ser artista & tocar el piano o ser una Maldonado

Puedo ser políglota, yes i can, così il mondo invado

Puedo ser escritora e inventar un mundo mejor

Puedo ser bailarina y mover falda al ritmo del tambor

Puedo ser libre, puedo ser loca, puedo ser yo

Puedo ser lo que me dé la gana.

Raza Brava

Somos una isla bendecida,

que aquellos quieren ver destruida

pero, lo que no saben es que, aunque dolida

nuetras pavas permanecerán unidas

Lucharemos con aquellos colonizadores

Y seguiremos siendo esos bailadores

que se sienten orgullosos de sus tradiciones

Viva Puerto Rico libre de opresores

Viva Francisco, Viva José nuestros grandes pintores

Viva Lola, viva Pedro nuestros grandes liberadores

Viva, viva y viva la isla del encanto

Con su música y su llanto.

The roots of a life 

I see myself; hear myself

The fact is the I don’t know where

I can see some grass and trees

I don´t know where it can be

Where do our roots lay?

I feel them, although i cannot see them

Around there are no other men

Sometimes I don’t know my way

Sometimes I don’t know what I want

Instead, I know nothing is gone

I know whole Earth is my home

I know I can adapt to all forms

Roots help to feel stable

They need to be irrigated

They need to be supported

Overcome obstacles I will be able

Even if I have no strength to offer

After a heavy storm vegetation suffers

Plants are gone and a space is left

Yagrumo geos where plants used to

Weaker than the previous ones

Their roots aren’t solid rest

That’s why roots are the base of a healthy person

It’s like the help of a father to a son

You feel safe and you feel protected

It’s your own place that you created

I prefer not to fight storms

They are opportunities to learn grow

Adapt and survive they say

I prefer to learn, flow and play.
